    1. After declaring a conflict of interest (House Journal 2022 p. 274) Mike Moyle voted for S1301 (2022) which attempted to lower property valuations for self-storage units. This bill was vetoed by the Governor because it shifted property tax burden from self-storage units to residential homeowners as stated in the Governor’s transmittal letter.

    2. After declaring a conflict of interest (House Journal 2023 p. 172) Mike Moyle voted for H230 (2023) which lowers the property valuations for self-storage units and other properties like car washes.

    3. In 2016, Moyle voted to cap the residential property tax exemption (H431 2016), shifting property tax burden from commercial properties to residential taxpayers, as his commercial property holdings dramatically appreciated in value.
